RARE LUNG TUMOURS
There is a large variety of lung tumours that may be benign or malignant. Many of these tumours are discovered incidentally, while in other cases they cause different non-specific symptoms. Among these tumours are the carcinoids tumours, the lung neurogenic tumours, the primary lung sarcoma, the primary lung lymphomas, the adenocystic carcinohe pseudotumours, the sclerosing haemangioma, and many others.
The decision regarding the treatment depends on the patient’s age, the tumour’s size and location, its symptoms, the histologic type, the patient’s cardio-respiratory reserves, and the patient’s general condition.
